In November group of 16 students from Żagań, were hosted by euroMind in Malaga to gain a 2-weeks internship in the 3D printing sector. Trainees had an opportunity to see what their jobs look like in other countrie. Also, trainees had different tusks which helped them increase their knowledge.
Trainees were interpreting plans. Operating and monitoring machines for cutting, drilling, and polishing plastic and metal. Placing and at the end of the process removing the piece of plastic and metal from the 3D printer and the machine. Cleaning, lubricating, and carrying out maintenance of the machinery. Using software to design pieces. Creating 3D models and discussing their limitations. Exporting, processing, and repairing files. Using manufacturing programs, for example, 3D Mesh. Coordinating and preparing the 3D printer for PLA printing and ABS printing- Designing and programming parts in order to produce the necessary support structures.
During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills but also took part in different cultural activities such as the excursion to Caminito del Rey and Seville.
Caminito del Rey is a walkway, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near Ardales in the province of Málaga, Spain. The name derives from the original name of Camino del Rey (Kings Pathway), abbreviated locally to el caminito. It has been known in the past as the “world’s most dangerous walkway”. Those who are not afraid of heights were able to walk along the boardwalks of the Caminito del Rey and marvel at this spectacular natural gorge. The trainees had a great experience visiting Seville, the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain.
The trainees had a great experience visiting Seville, the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain. The city is a historical masterpiece full of Islamic monuments, gardens, and flamenco festivals. They quickly realized that Seville is considered to be an architectural gem due to its well-preserved monuments such as the Cathedral and Giralda, the Royal Alcázar, and the General Archive of the Indies – all of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Students get sufficient Spanish courses with our Spanish teacher, we emphasize practice, so during lessons students play a lot, because we think the game is the best teacher. Spanish classes can be described in two words: dynamic and practical. That is why, after intensive and hard learning, the students had written an exam. All the participants passed with very good results!
euroMind team did their best to deliver the best professional and cultural experience to the trainees of the project being always ready to help, give advice and solve any problems or doubts.
