Młody ślusarz i kucharz w Unii Europejskiej
At the beginning of March 16 students from Gołdap, Poland arrived in Malaga to fulfill a 2-week work placement. Half of the group worked as cooks and the other half worked as hairdressers.
In order to overcome the language barrier and help them feel comfortable speaking Spanish, they took a 10-hour course with our Spanish teacher.
Outside working time, they did not have time to get busy thanks to the different activities and trips. They enjoyed a nice Malaga tour in which they discovered every corner of the city. The students saw a flamenco dance show and also enjoyed a catamaran trip. They had the opportunity to walk the trail of El Caminito del Rey – where the landscapes are magnificent.
The project was a wonderful opportunity for these students to develop, grow and flourish. We are so thankful to welcome such as fun and joyful groups. Hope to see them really soon in Andalusia !

I will mention the place of practice- everyone there was very helpful, especially my tutor who approached us with a lot of patience and understanding. We are very grateful that we could do an internship in this beautiful city as well as in the salon, I would love to do it again.

After getting acquainted with the recipes, we started working in the kitchen, the practices consisted of helping in the kitchen and watching how to make the recipe correctly. For the next days, we made various types of croquettes, both sweet and savory, then we made various cakes and pudding and the last time we made the famous paella. I would love to come here again!
