LITTLE KNIGHTS FROM ZAWIERZBIE IN THE FIGHT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

A group of 11 pupils from Szkoła Podstawowa w Zawierzbiu came to Malaga at the end of May a for a school exchange. Their stay focused on environmental issues, as well as culture, traditions and cuisine of Spain. The participants visited interesting places and established relationships with new Spanish colleagues.



They visited a gastronomy school and, under the supervision of a chef, they prepared Spanish tomato soup, salad and a Spanish omelette! They also visited an organic farm where they could see and feed many animals like horses, goats, sheep, chickens and peacocks! They also participated in an art workshop – they made drawings using natural objects and planted pumpkins, corn, courgettes and watermelons. Another day the pupils visited Mijas, a beautiful white town where they entered in butterfly park, Colomares castle and took part in a chocolate workshop.



We are sure of that their stay in Spain was an unforgettable experience for the pupils and everything they learned about ecology made them reflect on the future of our planet.
