Doskonalenie umiejętności zawodowych podczas mobilności za granicą
In Jun, a group of 20 students from Zduńska Wola, came to Malaga to develop a 3-week internship in their profession as Here, they were working as housekeepers, cooks, pastry cooks, receptionists.
Students had an amazing opportunity to see how Spanish hotel and gastronomy industries work and take part in daily life with workers.
Housekeepers were checking if the rooms have been vacated before cleaning. Making beds daily and changing bed linen. Vacuum cleaning carpets, floors, and upholstery. Cleaning bathrooms and supplying fresh towels and toiletries. Checking and restocking tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and mini-bar supplies.
Receptionists were using reservation systems to do individual or group check-in and check-out procedures. Receiving orders from the hotel’s guests. Familiarizing with procedures that allow guests to lengthen or shorten their stay or to change their room to another one. Updating systems regarding the availability of hotel rooms.
Cooks were preparing the ingredients for consumption or cooking. Washing, peeling, cutting fruit and vegetables as well as cutting meat. Checking the quality of food, tasting, smelling, punching with utensils, etc. Weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to recipes and personal judgment with the use of available kitchen appliances and equipment. Adjusting the temperature of other kitchen equipment depending on the dishes being prepared. Seasoning and cooking meals according to recipes, personal judgment, or experience, using.

During their stay in Malaga, the trainees not only developed their work skills, but they also took part in different cultural activities such as Malaga tour, Paella Night, Malaga Boat Trip Catamaran, and workshops which allowed them to get acquainted with Spanish culture and feel like Spanish people in the city of Malaga.
The group was given a very intensive Spanish course with our Spanish Teacher. euroMind’s teaching methods were very effective as they made learning fun through playing games and creating an enjoyable atmosphere in the class. The Spanish classes can be described in 2 words: dynamic and practical!

I was working in Feel Hostel Soho Malaga. It was a very friendly place. Work takes place in a nice atmosphere. I was a receptionist and I have learned a lot. The Spanish courses were helpful and the teacher Dani was amazing. Malaga od very beautiful pleace. The beach and sea were great. The place where we lived was cool. The food was good.

I found my stay in Malaga a really enjoyable one, I had the opportunity to work in de Cuchara, a small restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to my work there, I learned the basics of Spanish cuisine. it is worth mentioning about the Spanish lessons which were conducted by daniel despite the fact that the English he conducted lessons was understandable. Málaga has a beautiful beach and views either from the fortress or from the sea. I would like to come back here someday and learn more about Spanish culture
